Social Work, Coaching, and Leadership

Lead yourself first. When you do, you transform everything around you. Coaching doesn't create your potential—it reveals it and helps you use it with intention and impact.

I believe coaching creates possibility and transformation by developing change agents who transform systems, not just navigate them. It unlocks the power already within you to create systemic change and elevate well-being—whether you have organizational backing or you're working within your current sphere of influence. This means moving beyond personal development to dismantling the barriers that limit collective potential.

My work is grounded in social work values: social justice, human rights, collective responsibility, and respect for diversity. The International Federation of Social Workers defines social work as "a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people." This foundation shapes how I approach leadership development through the DESIGN Methodology—systematically integrating Emotional Intelligence, Red Team Thinking, and CliftonStrengths to transform the systems that shape how leadership operates, not just building individual skills.

I support the Grand Challenge for Social Work to Advance Long, Healthy, and Productive Lives—and developing leaders who can navigate and transform existing power structures to advance social and organizational well-being is how I contribute to that aim.

How are you using your leadership to create change beyond yourself—and what would be possible if you had the tools to transform the systems around you?
