Core Values

FREEDOM

Self-determination and agency unbound by judgment, discrimination, bias, and fear.

GROWTH

Courage to seek change, face uncertainty, embrace discomfort, and overcome fear to create, evolve, and flourish.

My role is to guide, challenge, and support you—but the transformation happens through your choices, actions, and commitment.

To be honest, you're not going to want to work with me if

you don’t see this as a serious investment, can’t show up with consistency, aren't receptive to considering feedback, don’t hold yourself accountable to your commitments, seek anything short of transformation, don’t want to be challenged or learn how to navigate challenges, have no interest in new or different perspectives, want to stay in your comfort zone, and are reluctant to provide honest feedback.

Who needs coaching?

Coaching is a process that can be powerful and transformative. Its value is in creating improvement by unlocking potential. Having a coach is a typical component among high-performing individuals.

You might be good at something already and with coaching you could achieve a higher level than on your own. What would a talented athlete be without a coach? Coaching takes you from ordinary to extraordinary, from good to exceptional.

You need a coach if you want to be dedicated to what you do in a personally sustainable way. Coaching opens the door to possibility. Help yourself to the possibility of showing up to be your best every day.

"Everyone needs a coach. It doesn't matter whether you're a basketball player, a tennis player, a gymnast, or a bridge player."

Mission

To partner with inclusive leaders and organizations to integrate well-being into leadership practice—empowering them to unlock potential, achieve excellence, and create lasting impact through innovative, evidence-based approaches.

Vision

A world where leaders champion well-being as essential to organizational excellence—creating cultures of compassion, sustained performance, and human flourishing that ripple across workplaces and communities globally.

SOCIAL WORK, COACHING, AND LEADERSHIP

The International Federation of Social Workers (July 2014) defines social work as "A practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility and respect for diversities are central to social work. Underpinned by theories of social work, social sciences, humanities and indigenous knowledge, social work engages people and structures to address life challenges and enhance wellbeing."

I'm a big thinker and envision coaching as a means toward increasing global well-being for communities, organizations, and individuals. Leaders shape our lives. Leaders shape our workplaces. Leaders shape our communities. Leaders shape our world.

Recognize that you are a leader because you lead by how you lead your life. Everyone, including you, has the potential to become an effective and compassionate leader. Just start with yourself.

I support the Grand Challenge for Social Work to Advance Long and Productive Lives and developing better leaders to advance social and organizational well-being facilitates that aim. Visit drjacquelineashley.com to learn even more about me.
